Full (annual) and LIFE membership: Qualifications-
- Surgeons with postgraduate degree or diploma in surgery and allied subjects like Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, E.N.T.
- MBBS doctor whose practice is at least 5 years old and has 50% surgical work.

FEES: Full member: Rs. 350 with the application; then Rs. 250 annually.
LIFE MEMBER: Rs. 2600 once only.Associate Membership: Qualifications; |
Licentiates or graduates in medicine and academicians who are engaged in practice or promotion of rural surgery.
FEES: Rs. 250 with the application and then Rs. 150 annually.
Overseas Member: Qualifications-
Surgeon residing outside India and has all the qualifications to be a Full member.
FEES: US$ 350 once only, except in case of surgeons from SAARC countries whose fee will be equivalent of Rs. 2600 once only.
